A Maryland man gunned down a Virginia woman and three of her kids, two of whom had been fathered by the alleged killer, authorities mentioned Friday.

Officers in Chesterfield County, Virginia, answered stories of a disturbance at 5 a.m. EST within the 4200 block of Laurel Oak Road and a welfare verify led to the grotesque discovery inside the home, in response to a police assertion.
